A glimpse of a friend and athlete by the name of Pete Billington. Film by Landis Fields, Zac Wollons, Punn Wiantrakoon, and Brian Berringer. Directed and Edited by Landis Fields. The project required 2 locations. All of the outdoor shots were taken out of the back/top of a four door jeep wrangler going up Mount Tamalpais. Everything else took place on a stage in a controlled studio environment that was lit using 2 soft boxes. The entire film was shot on 2 canon 7D’s (mostly at 60p for “slow-mo” flexibility later on while editing) and 1 Canon 5D at 30p which was conformed to a 24 frame timeline. All cameras were equipped with different lenses that fit the needs of each shot. Music by A Perfect Circle – Outsider (Apocalypse Remix). I hope you enjoy the film as much as we did creating it. Oxford, a city whose arteries flow with bicycles every day of the year, but on the second weekend of May cycling in Oxford gets an injection of creativity. The Cycle Oxford Festival is an opportunity to play with Oxford’s relationship to cycling, in the pursuit of inventing new cycling adventures.

The 2009 festival had a Dance Attack Alleycat, a Bicycle Bell Orchestra, a Fastest Mechanic competition, a Bike Polo Tournament, music, movies and a lot of fun to boot.

For 2010 we’re inviting people to submit short films about cycling in Oxford for the opening party on May 7th. This party will take place at the finish of the 2010 Festival Alleycat which will be a much anticipated rerunning of The Art Attack Alleycat.

May 8th will play host to the Bike Polo Tournament, an Alleykitten and a whole lot of music and merriment.

The festival closes on May 9th with the first ever Oxford cargo bike race, tweed, picnics and of course an all new Bicycle Bell Orchestra experience.

Four months on a bicycle between Cairo, Egypt and Cape Town South Africa is not your typical African safari.

En route with the Tour d’ Afrique, the world’s longest bicycle race and expedition, the Zenga Bros. (CAN) and Brian Vernor (USA) make light of this physically daunting trip by sharing a universal love of the bicycle with Africa’s roadside mechanics, sporting racers, and innumerable curious strangers.

Traveling more than 70 miles per day, 50 racers and expedition riders experienced the boundless Nubian desert of Sudan, the great majesty of Victoria Falls, and finally the cold rush of the Atlantic Ocean.

Where Are You Go captures the 7,000 mile expedition as a constant adventure full of playfulness and mysterious beauty, and is a testament to the endurance of human curiosity.
